Contact, corrections and takedowns
One address: hello@osuskins.org. It is read by a person, and there is no form standing in front of it.
If a skin here is yours
You do not have to justify anything. Say which page and what you want:
| You want | What happens |
|---|---|
| It taken down | The page, the preview we drew, the playable bundle and any copy we hold — gone, within 48 hours. No argument, no appeal process, no "but it's fair use". Email us. |
| A correction | Wrong author, wrong name, a skin that is not yours, a link you have moved. Email us. |
| To claim the page | We add your links — profile, Twitter, Ko-fi, whatever you want people to reach — and mark the page as yours. Email us. |
| Nothing, but your only link died | Tell us and we will say whether we still have a copy. If we do, it is yours — we will send it back so you can re-upload it yourself. Email us. |
What we hold, stated plainly
- Metadata — names, authors, dates, download links, whether those links still work. Facts about where things are.
- Previews we drew — composited from a skin's own hit circles, combo font and cursor. Ours to have made, still your artwork inside them.
- Preview art we did not draw — thumbnails from o!rdr and the skin compendium, shown where we have nothing of our own. Credited, and removed on request.
- Playable bundles — about 25 sprites and three hitsounds per skin, capped at 384px, enough to draw seven seconds in a browser and not enough to rebuild the skin.
- Cold copies — for skins down to their last working link, we keep an archive copy so the file is not lost when the host deletes it. Nothing from that archive is served or linked. It exists so the skin can be given back to its author, not redistributed.
Copyright
Skins contain artwork their authors made, and often artwork they did not — characters and music from other people's games. If you hold rights in something shown here, whether you made the skin or the thing the skin is made of, the same address works and the same 48 hours apply. We would rather remove ten things we might have been entitled to keep than argue about one.
